This model is based on the W-1 but has been adjusted to a more compact shape for those who prefer a tour-style profile. A major change is the design of the approach wedge (AW, 50–52°) and sand wedge (SW, 56–58°), where the center of gravity is intentionally differentiated for each.

The AW (50–52°) has its center of gravity shifted toward the heel, and the heel portion of the sole is deliberately preserved. This creates a highly manual feel, allowing shots over 80 yards to have the feedback of a muscle-back iron. The face contour is designed to emphasize the iron-like appearance when addressing the ball, with the heel dropped significantly and the toe apex extended high and far, giving a strong triangular impression.

On the other hand, the SW is designed with minimal face rotation, prioritizing a smooth and comfortable swing. By preserving the toe side of the sole, the center of gravity is extended, providing easy, more automatic playability. The face contour differs from the AW, featuring softer, rounded lines that feel natural even when the face is opened.

Additionally, compared to the W-1, the sole cut has been made more aggressive. From the trailing edge of the heel to the edge cut on the top blade, all heel-side cut elements are pulled toward the neck, creating a “opens but lays down” design.
